Camp Directors

Daniel and Silvia Switzer

As a ministry of Northgate Community Church, Camp Courage is a day camp directed by Daniel and Silvia Switzer.  The camp is looking forward to its thirty-third exciting year.

​Dr. Switzer, pastor of Northgate Community Church, has taught children for over thirty-five years. He has coached soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, and track. Silvia is particularly gifted in befriending children. She has taught children from the elementary to the secondary grades in multiple subjects, including Spanish. Both Dan and Silvia feel called to encourage, teach, and inspire youth to face life with Biblical courage as champions for God.
